Based on this performance, our customized products turn us to a leading company in the field of special valves for customising solutions. Our know-how in technical plant engineering makes it possible to work successfully in close collaboration with the customer in the detailed plant engineering of valves. Our series of ball valves is specified and well-known in the chemical industry around the globe. Mostly our valves are standard products in the storage of the big companies in the chemical industry throughout the world. The width and depth of our product range offers an incentive to our customers to get all different kind of ball valves techniques out of one hand acc. to their technical demands. With this high level in product and service quality for many kinds of application our customers can get commodity products with KLINGER quality up to high performance ball valves, like INTEC ball valve series. The International character of the Worldwide Independent KLINGER Companies Network ensures the safety for the worldwide logistics to the locations of our customers.
Our valves are applicable from -196°C up to +600°C and pressure up to 400 bar. Special alloys, like any kind of Nickel-alloys, for example Hastelloy C4, B2, C276 or titanium, ceramic sealings and PFA-lined sampling device ball valves and also the complete program of valves accessories belongs to our scope of supply.
Research, development, production and logistics are located at our headquarter in Graben-Neudorf near to Karlsruhe. Administartion, storage and production hall are situated in a building of 2.800 sqm at a ground of 3.500 sqm.
Sales, marketing and technical support are located at our traditional site "Idstein/Taunus".

Industrial engineering
All common assembly units are stored in sufficient quantity in a well sorted warehouse. The commissioning and assembly are carried out order-oriented. Small and middle-sized quantities of standard valves as well as the resulting modifications can be delivered within 1-2 weeks. Depending on the availability of the material, special valves can be delivered within 4-8 weeks after receipt of the order.
Design
The heart of the development department is a design department equipped with 4 CAD-work stations. Auto-CAD mechanical 2004 (2-D-system) as well as two working places AutoDesk inventor 8 (3-D-system) are in use. An extensive collection of standards and technical literature is available. All required calculations and interpretations are carried out by ourselves.
R&D-Test room

A series-testing stand with 10 stations is availbale for extensive tests. The developed valves can be tested here under working conditions. Steam up to 250°C, hot water until 60 bar, thermo-oil, cooling brine or nitrogen can alternatively be used as test medium for long-time tests for more than many 100.000 cycles or until the single components fail. This test bed will also be used for components tests, individual approvals or for the proof of the German clean air act in the combined effect with the helium-leak test device. Depending on the requirements leakages to outside (static sealings or stem sealings) or the tightness of the dynamic and static sealing systems until 1x10-9 mbar L/sec. could be detected. The approvals often take place under the witness of TÜV. On an universal-test bed, new and repaired valves can be checked on tightness and solidity up to a test pressure of 100 bar. Beside other small test bed, there is also a test bed for fire-safe-tests acc. to British-standard BS 6755 and ISO 10497 for inspection in cooperation with the corresponding organization.
Assembly
The heart of the series assembly is a revolving table with many working stations equipped with the corresponding equipment for the rational and simplified assembly. Moreover, there are single working places as well as special working places for the suitable product assembly. The stock for the small parts, which is integrated into the production in form of a paternoster, enables a fast access in a very confined space.
Mechanical production
All valves of special materials as well as many series- and component parts will be processed and produced in the mechanical production. The mechanical production comprises the following machineries: CNC - turning and - milling machines, machining centre, conventional-turning and - milling machines, drilling machines, ribbon saw-machine, lapping machines, finishing machine, machine for electro polishing, needle stamping system, pollution abatement facility and slide grinding machine.
Transports
Beside the transport with service companies like forwarding agents and parcel services, KLINGER SCHÖNEBERG has a light lorry for transports in the regional surrounding.
